Martha is a lovely hostess. Cong is very small but the lodge is in a lovely spot steps from the Cong Woods and the Quiet Man museum.

Huge trucks pass through the tiny village, thankfully not at night

The property was great, it was in the best location, beside the river and close to all the points of interest in Cong, Martha and her staff were the perfect hosts, the rooms were well presented, comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with lots options, our family would have no hesitation on staying here again. Jim & Carol Quigley

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
We loved our recent stay at Ryan's River Lodge. This was our second time staying with Martha and will not be our last! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious every day. We loved rising ever morning to the view of the river Martha also was always helpful with suggestions of local attractions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. So comfortable and clean, hosts that were ever so welcoming and the most gorgeous little village. A delightful spot that shouldn’t be missed.

It's in an ideal spot, near Lydon's for dinner, near O," Connors shop. Cong is a lovely village, and so nice to walk around.I got some nice few items In the butcher's shop, to bring home to my son, he's a very good cook!!

I liked everything about my stay in that location!!

Hands down the best stay we had in Ireland!! The rooms were very clean (we had a room with an ensuite bathroom...room #1). The breakfast was fantastic!! The location doesn't get more beautiful. But all of that dims in comparison to our host, Martha. Martha genuinely went above and beyond and made us feel incredibly welcome. If you are passing anywhere near Cong, Ireland, I 100 out of 100 recommend you stay at Ryans River Lodge.
