Ryans Riverlodge accommodation Cong  is located at the “Gateway to Connemara” Our home is an excellent base for any tourist wishing to visit the gems of the West of Ireland, such as Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park Letterfrack, Clifden, Westport, the National Museum Castlebar and Galway City to name a few.
 
Our  Bed and Breakfast in Cong is also located a short stroll from Cong Abbey and Ashford Castle grounds and some beautiful river and woodland walks and discover Cong’s famous caves and Irelands only Dry Canal. Why not take a hike through the famous Ballykyne woods. We also boast a superb location between two of Ireland’s most famous lakes, Lough Corrib and Lough Mask which are perfect for Pike, Trout and Salmon Fishing. Why not avail of one of our fishing packages with an experienced guide who will ensure you get the best catch of the day, we can even provide your picnic!
 
Cong village is famous thanks to The Quiet Man movie starring John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara, which was filmed here in 1951. Ryans RiverLodge Bed and Breakfast Cong is the ideal accommodation choice for any Quiet Man enthusiast, wishing to be based in the heart of Cong village. We are next door to the museum and the “Dying Mans House” and would be happy to point you in the direction of many of the scence’s nearby and when you have finished you can sit and enjoy the movie in our TV lounge.
